"Sixty million people in the world are refugees today. Half of are children. Worldwide, one in every 122 people is either a refugee, internally displaced, or seeking asylum,” a UN study reports. This young girl was an Afghan refugee who fled with her family to Iran. I took this picture during the first week at her new school when her family returned to Afghanistan.
