Photograph by George Steinmetz @geosteinmetz / @thephotosociety Karst hills punctuate privately owned fields of rapeseed near #Luoping in China’s Yunnan Province. The rape seed is harvested for cooking oil, the stalks are turned into home insulation, and beehives are brought in to make honey. With very little arable land to feed a large population, almost every scrap of flat fertile soil in China is used to grow something. To see more aerial photos of China go to @geosteinmetz #notadrone
