Celebrates World Oceans Day - photo by @daviddoubilet The #GreatBarrierReef is the worlds largest and recognized coral reef in the world. It was designated a #UNESCO #WorldHeritageSite in 1981. The Great Barrier Reef along with most coral reefs are struggling in the face of climate change and physical degradation. My underwater colleagues at @natgeo are passionate talented people determined to make a difference through the power of the photograph. Every day is World Ocean Day in their lives. I am honored to be part of such an esteemed energetic and team focused on ocean awareness and conservation.
