Photograph by @thomaspeschak In Mexico's San Ignacio lagoon a gray whale mother pushes it’s young calf to the surface so it can get a better look at the photographer. Since the 1970s many of the whales that migrate here to give birth regularly display an unusual curiosity towards people.
