Help! Need new text-to-speech app/program

HELP! SoundGecko is shutting down. Is there any other outfit out there that does what SoundGecko does? That is, converts longform articles from the Web into text-to-speech mp3's I can listen to offline? I am looking at NaturalReader but I don't think it's going to do what I want it to do—what SoundGecko did. I like to nab articles off Longform.org (because I don't have enough time to read) and put them on my old-fashioned ipod. I prefer not to mess with the cloud or depend on bandwidth/quality of signal. HELP!!!!! thanks????
