Poto keindahan dunia dari mata lensa kamera - May 05, 2015 at 08:29PM

Photo by @tyronefoto (Tyrone Turner). Terry Encalade of Pointe a la Hache, Louisiana waits to start his day dredging oysters in "No Man's Land", an area of open water about 50 miles southeast of New Orleans between Empire, La. and the Gulf of Mexico. Though the oystermen of Pointe a la Hache find work on others' oyster leases and boats west of the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish, the story is different on their east bank side where the oysters in their traditional areas have not come back since the 2010 BP oil disaster. See the full story about Pointe a la Hache on Nat Geo's Proof blog, "Struggling to Survive When the Oysters Have Gone." #pointealahache #plaquemines #katrinatenyears #bpoilspill #louisiana #myneworleans #natgeoproof @natgeocreative @thephotosociety #onassignment
