This car was shot for an article, “The Nature of Design” about #Biomimetics, the affect of the natural form on everyday products we use. The shape of this concept car is based on a #boxfish, it’s surprising & streamlined form inspired #Mercedes-Benz’s engineers to build this one of a kind #bionic vehicle. The flowing vapors during #wind-tunnel tests in a #Stuttgart facility, show the movement air, showing off the car's #aerodynamics, which helps boost it’s gas mileage to as high as 70 miles per gallon.
