This is an Inaguan Lyretail (Calliphlox evelynae lyrura). This hummingbird performs a high speed display dive to attract mates and those slender tail feathers are actually designed to produce a sharp chirping sound during the display. This bird only lives on a couple of islands in the Bahamas and was long thought to be a subspecies of the Bahama Woodstar. I was part of a research team that discovered it was in fact a separate species.
