Photo by @shonephoto (Robbie Shone) taken two days ago from Buda looking at the Hungarian Parliament Building situated on the banks of the Danube in Pest. It was built between 1885 and 1904 in response to the need for a symbol that represented the sovereignty of the nation. It remains both the largest building in Hungary and the highest building in Budapest.
