Lead poisoning linked to informal mining has killed over 400 children under five years old since March 2010, according to the United Nations, and left Zamfara Province with the highest incidence of lead poisoning in the world. This image is from a body of work that illuminates #humanrights issues that fuel the fire of Northern Nigeria’s turbulent state.
