I'm normally only going to do this column Mondays and Fridays, but two good midweek sales just popped up.
First of all, we have the Comixology Submit Fantasy sale. It runs through Thursday night at 11PM EST.
Best Value: Depends on page count here, and I haven't gone through it individually.
My Recommendations: The Only Living Boy by David Gallaher and Steve Ellis. A post apocalyptic story in the vein of Kamandi. It's a very fun story. Plus American Barbarian by Tom Scioli. It's hard to describe this series, but it's awesome and gorgeous.
The other one- X-O Manowar from Valiant. It includes the original Valiant series, the Acclaim reboot, and the 2012 relaunch.
Best Value: The bundle- 33 issues for under $26. It's right there on the banner- that's 73% off retail.
My Recommendations: BUY ALL THE THINGS! I was never a Valiant fan as a kid, but the revival made me a convert. This is the series that started that revival. It is a fantastic sci-fi superhero adventure. Buy as much of it as you can.
Now go read some comics!
