Photograph by George Steinmetz @geosteinmetz Every once and a while it's nice to take a little time away to reflect and be inspired by the work of others. For me there are few better places to do that than in the village of La Gacilly in Brittany, which displays fabulous work on its stone-walled streets and gardens. The most amazing find for me was the work of the Italian photographer Piergiorgio Branzi, who eloquently captured small town Italian life in in the 1950s and 60's. It's always humbling to discover another master of a shared passion. The theme this year was Feed The Planet, which also featured the wonderful work of fellow @natgeo photographers Robbin Hammond @whereloveisillegal, Matthieu Paley @paleyphoto and Peter Menzel The festival is open through September and the vibe here is sublime. @LaGacillyPhoto 🇫🇷@expo.milano2015
