Photo taken by @stevemccurryofficial // Falcons are an important part of culture and tradition in the Emirates and other Gulf states. They have been used for hundreds of years to hunt game. I was flying out of Dubai last evening, and there were men and their falcons on board the aircraft. I was told that falcons even have their own passports to enable travel between countries and to reduce illegal trade on the black market more difficult.
