Photo by @argonautphoto (Aaron Huey). A hiker stares down what could be a 1000 ft deep hole in the ice of the lower #RuthGlacier in #DenaliNationalPark. The hole is filled with water and you can see quite far down. It's amazing to stand on the edge of these blue wormholes!!! The more frightening ones were smaller in diameter with no water in them, and could swallow you up forever if you didn't watch your step! Taken on assignment for @natgeo magazine.
