Photograph by @paulnicklen while on assignment for @natgeo. You know you are in the right spot when you are in a staring contest with a wolverine. It was -18c outside and I was standing chest deep in a near freezing river in my drysuit with my 600mm lens. Only my head and shoulders were sticking out of the water. The tripod was underwater except for the ballhead as I was trying to minimize my presence with this incredibly shy animal. #nature #wildlife
