Editing film from a story I shot several years ago, Who are the #Phoenicians? A group of sailors and boat builders from the harbor of #Tyre in southern #Lebanon built a replicate of a boat that the Phoenicians were reported to have built. They were the first people to #sail by the #NorthStar as well as being the first group to sail past the great rock of #Gibraltar. People speculate about the distance that they sailed from home. Phoenician amphora have reportable been found as far say as Ireland and South Africa. @thephotosociety @robertclarkphoto @natgeo @instituteartist
