Photo by @petekmuller / @prime_collective. A man from a village outside of Isiro, DR #Congo, pushes a bike laden with wares up a battered road. Many village residents bring their goods to Isiro with the hopes of fetching higher prices. Isiro and its adjacent villages are almost entirely cut off from other areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo. With the exception of foot and bike paths, no reliable road networks connect Isiro with other towns. The area is surrounded by hundreds of miles of dense forest.
